    Operating

    The grid of Procyon City: four heat-pipe fission modules of about 5 MWe each run around the clock, and a 12 MWp photovoltaic field adds power by day. Dust in the air cuts the solar output, most of all in a dust storm.

  • Procyon Propellant Works

    Operating

    Methane and oxygen for the surface-to-orbit shuttles. Compressors take CO2 from the atmosphere, electrolysers split water into hydrogen and oxygen, and a Sabatier reactor turns CO2 and hydrogen into methane and water, which goes back to the electrolysers.
